Tomaso De Luca

I first moved to Rome in 2010 in order to develop a project around an abandoned sculpture from the Fascist era, titled “il Cacciatore” (the Hunter). When I arrived to the place, I found the massive statue hidden between the vegetation and this is the first picture that I took of it. I still consider this image as the paradox of the sculpture in the forest, the perfect metaphor to describe my work.
